French Spiral Galvanized Planter

A round galvanized planter with a pressed spiral that catches light the way old French zinc used to. The body is metal, not plastic, with a powder-coated and lightly aged surface.

The texture does the styling work. A plain green plant looks finished in it; a flowering succulent looks collected. Sit it on a dining table, bathroom stool, or covered patio side table.

Size

Approximately 20 × 15 × 16 cm. Confirm the nursery pot diameter before planting; most 5–6 inch pots sit comfortably with a liner.

Materials & care

Galvanized iron with powder coat and distressed spiral stamping. Wipe clean. Use a liner for soil. Avoid leaving water pooled in the base. Covered outdoor use is fine; freeze–thaw and standing rain will shorten the life of the coating.
